Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/31/06 . chapter 29Wow cool. I love the descriptions. I love the paragraph about mourning and regret, but that she doesn't regret choosing to be what she wants. This is awesome I love it, I can't wait for the next one! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/30/06 . chapter 28This is definitely another favorite! I loved the description of the dress on Elphaba and Glinda's frustration and the last line was absolutely beautfiul. I love these friendshippy moments, they rock! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/26/06 . chapter 27I love it. Mostly I don't like Melena much, but I did in this. And I love how you describe the children's...bluntness, it's so true and therefore kind of true. Nice job with this, I think it's on my top ten list now :D. |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/26/06 . chapter 26Oh for cool, a Glinda and Elphaba at Shiz moment! I love those. I loved this (obviously I hope). Especially the line about how much an event like this could change someones future, given that we know exactly how it changes a certain (two) someones future. And I loved how she asked Glinda at the end. Loverly job with the whole thing. Sorry I didn't review faster, the week before Christmas is absolutely zonkers at my house. Happy holidays! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/26/06 . chapter 25Wow, I never woulda thought of that but it makes perfect sense! I'd miss food the most too I think. I like that you get in what he misses and how bitter he's be come all in this itty bitty drabble. Nice job! |
Rainpath 12/16/06 . chapter 2I love the writing! I ave a question, though... What do tose little numbers in the left hand corner mean? 044. Circle one? |
Rainpath 12/16/06 . chapter 1*Gasp* Good work! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/15/06 . chapter 24Aw for sweet! I love it, I can totally picture Glinda trying to write Elphaba a letter and it ended perfectly. It shows how Elphie's absense has this profound effect on Glinda without going into lengthy unecessary descritpion, the whole thing just exudes her emotion I love it. Out of curiosity, did you have a particular verse or time frame in mind for this? Cuz right now I'm thinkin' musical-verse sometime between the two acts. Anyway, I love it and I'm looking forward to the next one! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/8/06 . chapter 23*Singsongs* I have a nee-eew fave-rit! This was beautiful! Holy flippin GORGEOUS! I loved everything, from the concept of broken without eachother and fixed with eachother. And 'seduce with calmness' very prettiful writing. Okay, so I liked it. A lot. I loved it. A LOT! I'll just stop fangirling now...But I LOVED IT! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/7/06 . chapter 22Well it's not your best in my opinion, but it's certainly a far cry from bad. It may be the subject matter actually. Personally I think that one of, if not the most, saddest parts of Wicked as Maguire tells it, is the unfortunate circumstances of Liir's birth. I like how you pointed out that even the baby's cries couldn't get her attention, it's terribly heartbreaking, but probably true. I guess I while reading the novel I held out this hope that she'd somehow do what she always does and kind of rise up to what no one would expect her to be. A mother especially since hers was so lousy. I mean we know she can love, Fiyero's proof enough of that. I got rather mad at her when she scarcely even acknowledged her son. Anyway, I digress much. So I didn't like this, simply because it's one of those parts of Elphaba that totally makes me wanna throw a coniption. But at the same time I loved this, because you stayed true to the novel at least. And you managed to cram a whole lot of depth and emotion into that last paragraph especially. So don't be too hard on yourself, your writing rocks! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 12/7/06 . chapter 21Interesting spot to put this in. Time wise I mean. I don't think I've ever seen anything done from Liir (or anyone else's for that matter) point of view from when Elphaba left for Colwen Grounds. So you get major points for originality there. I love how Liir actually kinda misses Elphaba. And how he thinks about actually calling her that instead of The Witch. Nice insight to him! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 11/30/06 . chapter 20"That’s the only aspect that she likes about her roommate: she always smells good." Hehe, that's pretty funny right there. This was a good, one. I loved the descriptions and I like how it kinda conveys Elphaba's disgust with her roomate, but hints at the little quirks she'll eventually learn to love in her best friend. Nice job, can't wait for the next one! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 11/19/06 . chapter 19I think I have a new favorite. Seriously this was awesome. I have a proto-beginning for a new story that touches on her unbreakable-ism (not a word, I know, we'll deal with it) and I just basically love the whole concept that Elphaba is unbreakable, because she's decided to be. Musical Elphaba anyway, book Elphaba's spirit was at the least, very bent out of shape if not broken. You hit everything that should have made her a submissive little mouse really strong in this to, and I really liked that, because it makes the last line so strong. Am I making sense at all, somehow I doubt it so I'll shut up, but this was well and truly wonderful. Excellent job! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 11/11/06 . chapter 17Okay, first off, sorry you had to actually tell me to tell you what i thought. I thought i was caught up with reviews and obviously i'm not. I apologize i can't promise i'll be prompt but i can promise i'll review. That said I love it in all kinds of ways. I love how you detail what she loves about him, the quality he has that she longs for when he's gone. That was awesome, and i love the happy conclusion, those definitely work for me :D. Really nice job with this one! |
Kennedy Leigh Morgan 11/11/06 . chapter 18Oh poor Boq :( Glinda's kind of vicious, but the really sad thing is she doesn't actually realize how cruel she just was. And again, poor Boq, for being deluded enough to think she'd take some pity on him in the first place, for falling for the girl he can't have, for being humiliated and scorned...just poor Boq. But really nice job with this drabble, can't wait for the next one! |
