That's a side of Riku that I haven't seen before and mind you, I am not saying that it's not there. It's awesome to get a glimpse of that sensitive side that he keeps to himself. The darkness, I think, reinforced the fact of "be tough or die" and Namine... well, she's totally gotten to Riku, eh?

You brought the two together really well, and handled the bit about Riku liking Kairi wonderfully. (As a Sokai fan, I can greatly appreciate it-- you talked about it keeping them both in character, but ending with our one true pairing :3) It seems like something that would really happen in KH, and I wouldn't doubt that Square-Einx was thinking the same thing as you. It fits in so perfectly with the game.

As for keeping Riku in character, you did it beautifully, Per. Really.

My favorite part was how you wrote the piece, going in a stream-of-consciousness sort of thing. I can imagine Riku sitting on the beach and thinking (Dare I suggest SAYING) this to Namine. It fits his personality-- Riku is not one to make a big speech of how much he loves someone like Sora might (A girl can dream, right?) and this fits how he might 'confess' perfectly.

I think you really did get his personality down though, especially after all the changes he's been there, and I think you touched on some interesting ideas about Kairi and Namine. And you're exactly right about her personality being so sweet and gentle. Anyway, great job! I loved it!

I very rarely read het. pairings, but this one was totally worth it- it's not that often that someone writes a Rku/Namine and even more rare that the latter is kept in character. Really enjoyed this and I look forward to reading more of your stuff.

This was great, Namiku is my favorite pairings, mainly because both are just angsty characters.
