I can't believe I missed this story when it came out. I guess it fell through the cracks. Good to see Chloe standing up for herself and I especially liked the ending where they decided to go "Freelance." Still out there protecting the world. The guardian angel and the avenging angel.

I absolutely love this story! Especially the ending, its so realistic to what Chloe and Jack would do. I like the way that its written so relaxed, fantastic!

Incredibly well-done for a Jack/Chloe. I really liked the way you exploited that incredibly effective and almost telepathic CTU relationship they have-- ("I can't read minds, Jack!" -S3 Chloe. Still so sure,S5 Chloe?), instead of trying to force something that isn't. With Jack and Chloe, "romance" just seems dumb. This seems brilliant.

So again, the focus on the dynamic we see between them on-screen really made this work. And I loved the parts about how Chloe can always find Jack, because she really can-- it's just what she does. And the last two paragraphs? Awesome.

i will be the first to say that i am a hesitant Jack/Chloe -er... but this story is definitely helping to change my mind! i loved it all, so interesting--plus the style is SO pleasant to read! i also adore the last section... SO GREAT!

This is just f*cking marvelous. Well characterized, terse, and economical. The only part that was a bit over the top was the fight b/t Chloe and Audrey, but that was amusing nonetheless.

This is awesome. I just like the fact that they get together AND after Jack retires, they disappear and then people turn up dead.

That is pretty much just balls out awesome.

Maybe expand on the story? You could go alot of different ways on this if you chose.
