Spinereader 2006-06-09 ch 1,	abuseWhat a moving and tender love story. It has to be one of the only stories with death followed closely by a new relationship didn't seem clique and insulting to the deceased. It all felt so natural and right, all the while remaining in character. I actually wavted them to get together, and didn't feel guilty about it due to the way Touji's death was portrayed. It was obvious they missed him and cared about him. It is also obvious Shinji wasn't just the rebound boy, as is often the case in fiction. All in all the relationship was handled in a very tender and respectful manner. Though I'll agree with the other reviewer who said that the Three Words (I love you) may have come a little fast, at least on Shinji's part. The line about Hikari having nowhere to go on Saterday made me wonder. Are you aware Japanese students have (IIRC) half day school days on Saterdays, or was Hikari cutting? I didn't know Sleeping Sun was a Nightwish song until the very end. (Obviously I didn't look at your user name when I clicked on the story.) I thought I'd heard just about all their songs but apparently you hit on one I haven't. Further proof that I need to nag myself to buy their album. I keep forgetting.
