OH MY GOD. You did it. You really killed him. I never thought you'd go through with it. But they went out in a blaze of glory, that's for sure! I'm glad the other guys came back to reassure BA. Now he can concentrate on the living.

Still having a little trouble with the fact that you killed them. Oh, you did it with great style, as I've come to expect, BUT . . . you KILLED them. ;)
I found it interesting that when Face was talking to a dead Hannibal he thought he was crazy, and that Murdock--who admitted to talking to a dead Hannibal often--is assumed to be a little mad, but when BA sees and talks to the rest of the dead team, it never occurs to him that he's going nutters. :)
I enjoyed your less than heroic spin on Face, and the fact that the recurring dream finally plays out to his eventual fateful end. Also the fact that he actually learns from his mistakes and matures before the end of the story. Great continuity and satisfying read. The cliffhangers and twists were exception. Great job, Clairon!

What a wonderfull end. I love it. I was a little bit angsty about Faces death. But it wasn't cruel. He was together with his mate. No more fear. Finally peace. Finally together. *Sigh*

Just when I think Face is redeeming himself, she bests him again. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
A terrible plot twist, which I didn't foresee, and I'm really beginning to despise this Lorelei character.
So . . . however you do it . . . bad dream, Hannibal the Avenger back from the dead, too much liquor . . .
(twists hands and tears at hair)
Awaiting more . . . anxiously.

And again, a great chapter. And it seemed, that the ban is broken. Face want to open himself to his mate. He want to trust Murdock.

But I have an uneasy feeling about the last sentences. He believes Hannibal in a way, that doesn't make me happy. I know, that Hannibal was a very important person in his life. He adored and trusted him. But now he's dead. And Face lives.
On the other hand, I was never dead. Probably the dead are omniscient. And they are connected with those they love. And lead them. But - I remember your spoiler and I think, I get accustomed at that last thoughts. *Sigh and sniff*

Excellent descriptions of Face in the jungle and being hurt. I mean, I've never been shot, so I don't know if it's "accurate", but it sure as hell seemed real and right to me!

Waiting to see just what ends up happening...

Been away - holiday here. Read 9 & 10 together. EXCELLENT. Your examination of Face's inner thoughts is lovely. Chapter 10 is particularly gorgeous - lots of angsty-ness and self-examation. Nicely done. Nice metaphors too. Very, very nice. And a good study of the relationship between Face and Murdock there at the end. All of us in a relationship can relate, I think. Bravo!
