It's funny because I read White Fences and Apple Trees before this, and when Nathan got introduced it made me feel bad cause it almost felt wrong. I guess that is more of a compliment to the other story...ah well great job and keep doing BBM things pleeeaaassseee.

First time I read this one, and it was a bit strange at first. but then i realised what was happening and it just broke my heart. The end was lovely, and I only wish there were some more of your stories I could read (cos i haven seen, read or whatever NCIS or Newsies, etc). Thank you for 'em, 'cause theyre he most beautiful things in the world, for sure.

It probably shouldn't be legal for someone to draw out so many emotions from people but you do it beautifully anyway. I can't add anymore praise really. I've run out of words. Yet all I said about your other story 'White Picket Fences and Apple Trees' applies to this one too. 'Close Your Eyes' truly did have me in tears. I almost feel like I should be annoyed that you have a power with words that can make me feel like crying. However I can't deny that you have an amazing talent and it shouldn't be locked up so stuff the 'legalities' of the situation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I've ready your other BBM story, White Picket Fences and Apple Trees, TWICE. And, I just finished reading this story.

They both made me cry. They are both beautiful, and absolutly amazing.

PLEASE write more BBM stories because you are so good at it. You are an extremely talented writer, so keep it up!

I thought you did a good job of getting the kids to figure out what happened between Jack and Ennis, without Ennis being out of character and telling them everything. Loved it! :)
