abuseOMG!
I love it!
I loved the way you wrote Neville. He´s so sensitive and at the same time stroger than in the books.
You did a very good job.
Congrats

abuseThis is fabulous. I do love Neville and you've written him very well. All of them, actually: Ron, Hermione & Harry too. Thanks for putting this story up.

abusei keep hoping that in book 7, JKR will show more of the depths of neville's character. he hasn't really been given enough attention, and i think there is far more to him than the quiet, bumbling boy she's show us so far. i enjoyed your story very much because you did what, so far, she has not. neville from the inside out! great story.

abuse*sigh*

This has to be the billionth time I've read this, and it keeps getting better. THAT is the mark of an excellent story.

My sole complaint (and it's a tiny one) is the occassional sentence that isn't -quite- correctly puntuated.

“He does but they never make it through the door.”
“Neville, you’re a friend and right now I think Harry needs that more than anything else.”

Other than that, amazing.

If you ever stop writing, I'm going to hunt you down and make you read really, really bad fic until you give in.

abuseThere was just something about this story that captured my attention from the beginning and didn't let go until the end. Normally I am not a fan of pairing pieces for the Harry Potter genre, because they are either overdone, horribly out of character, or so unreal they make me want to choke, but the way you wrote this piece made it seem real. This seems more like a real romance. There aren't any declarations of love, there is embarrassment and understanding, there are misconceptions, and most of all there is uncertainty.

Neville is one of my favorite characters in the Harry Potter universe, because he captures more than any other character that will to just keep on trying no matter what anyone says. He cracks, he fumbles, but he never truly breaks. The Neville you wrote in this story really comes into his own, and he is everything I would imagine Neville to be both during and after the war.

The ending was my favorite part of the story, because you leave us with a sense of what will happen, but you never explicitly say what does happen. It doesn't give off a feeling of 'happily ever after', only a sense that things are right with the world at that moment.

abuseWow.
Just... wow. It's beautiful, and wonderful, and so sad... Around the end I cried. Tears of happiness, rather then sadness. This is a masterpiece not worthy of words alone.
You keep on writing beautiful, wonderful, fantastic masterpieces like this.

abuseOH! Your words are so lovely and sad but Neville's continuing hope even amidst all his sorrow makes my heart feel like it's been put through a washing machine and stomped all over.

This is beautiful.
