Dear Jodi. I interperated my version of the song. im sorry ur views did not agree. But I also believe my concepts with Vader are fine. Vader denies help from a friend. It's not like Amidala and Obiwan are denying him friendship. Vader pushes it aside... I don't see how it doesnt agree with the song. They'll always be there for him. He just has to come to them.

I love OB-1! It never crossed my mind that OB-1 and Ami could be so close. I think it's a really good idea. I liked all the expression that you used in your writing. It was really touching the way Obi-Wan and Ami cried in each other's arms. Your story made me realize when Ani turned to the Dark Side that he was really in a lot of pain. PS-I'm Theed's friend. )

Be forewarned, this is one of my most sacred of all sacred songs, I will say some critical things about interpretting it. The Amidala/Obi-wan parts mostly seem accurate for the song. The others, don't. Flashbacks, don't. The song's about always being there for a friend no matter what and I think that you need to work on that concept with Vader, etc, etc. Okay, sorry to be mean, I don't like to be.
