Ronin-N-Gang 2007-05-11 ch 5,	abuse“Leave us,” Hiei said dismissively. “You’re no true threat to us, you reek of cowardice and submission.” Classical Hiei for you XD Now Malfoy is going to try to prove himself only to be nearly killed by Hiei – though that would destroy their cover, so Hiei would most likely dodge him… like he does Kuwabara. “For the record,” Yusuke said sweetly, patting Malfoy’s cheek, “Hiei’s a pureblood. Keep that in mind next time you throw around insults.” Pureblooded demon perhaps, but isn’t his demon side broken down into half fire elemental & half ice apparition like Yukina? So would he therefore not be a true pureblood? Or am I just making myself confused..? Yusuke and Hiei weren’t mentioned in the elemental scene because spell effects are usually similar across the board. Either they work the way they’re supposed to, or they fail spectacularly. Neither of the detectives did the latter, obviously. Being in tune with fire, I was for sure that Hiei would’ve destroyed it… ah well.

Ronin-N-Gang 2006-08-09 ch 4,	abuseHarry jerked in surprise when the hand came into his line of vision. “Hiei!” It was indeed the small transfer student. Somehow, without any of them noticing, Hiei had simply appeared on the seat next to Yusuke, who hadn’t been at all surprised. Now there are going to be questions filling Harry’s mind, I just know it! And with the questions will come distrust and with the distrust there’ll be watching… can they really keep an eye on Hiei? Heck when they blink, he’d be gone… As Harry, Ron and Hermione passed Professor Minamino smiled, shifting the box in his arms. “Good morning,” he said softly. A few of the girls, including Hermione, blushed as he greeted them, though the young professor hardly seemed to notice this. Great now Kurama has move fan-girls! Why is it that everywhere he goes that seems to happen?!? Nevertheless she dug a small square of paper, neatly covered in plastic, from the bowels of her pack. “Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Lupin. I wonder if he’s any good?” He’s the best teacher you’ll ever have! Too bad they can’t keep him… stupid werewolf laws -_- Just because he’s a werewolf doesn’t mean he’s working for evil!
Ronin-N-Gang 2006-08-01 ch 3,	abuse“Jaganshi, Hiei!” Straightening from his slump, the fire youkai stalked to the stool and seated himself, automatically crossed his arms in front of him. Yusuke smirked when he noticed that the youkai’s feet dangled in the air above the floor. A moment later the hat was placed on his head, immediately slipping down and flattening his gravity defying hair. Several people in the audience giggled as the hat sank below his red eyes, cutting the crowd from view. Poor Hiei is even smaller than most of the first years… Though it would’ve been a funny sight to see when Hiei’s hair was crushed by the hat ^_^ In other words, you could be in almost any house. Only one other student was as difficult to sort as this. The hat sounded almost grumpy. Where do you wish to be placed? Yea but Harry Potter only got the choice between Gryffindor and Slytherin whereas Hiei seems to be good in even Hufflepuff – something I would NEVER have expected in a thousand years. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Ronin-N-Gang 2006-08-01 ch 2,	abuseAfter a time, when the demon did nothing more threatening than getting a paper cut, Hiei appeared to have grown bored. It was difficult for the uninitiated to detect emotions in Hiei, but Kurama had had long practice in doing so. The almost imperceptible thinning of his lips and half-lidded stare betrayed his state quite clearly to the spirit fox. Poor Remus got a paper cut T.T And after all that time with Hiei I would hope that Kurama would be able to tell what and when Hiei is feeling a certain way, otherwise Hiei would have (as I believe) very little to do with him as he does with Yusuke and Kuwabara. But then again Kurama is the only smart one of the bunch so I couldn’t really blame him… “Luckily”, Genkai said in her gravelly voice as she passed out the ‘wands’, “I know how to perform wandless magic, which is little known to those dunderheads western magical society. Obviously you do now as well, thanks to the charm. In any case, wandless magic here in the east it is more widely recognized and taught. So if you forget and use one of your reiki powers, which I do not recommend,” Genkai added with a sharp glare at Yusuke, “it will most likely be accepted as something crazy we foreigners do.” And knowing Yusuke, he’d do it just to freak out some poor blonde boy –coughMalfoycough- Yusuke clenched a fist, shaking it skyward dramatically. “Curse your unexpected yet inevitable betrayal, Kurama!” Several beats later the teen lamely added, “-Sensei,” in case any students heard, which was doubtful. There was too much noise. Yusuke and Hiei will be lost without Kurama, especially since Kurama is the only one who would be able to keep the two of them in line. Then again Yusuke may be able to do a good job on his own since he’s around people 24/7 – though now that I think about it he is usually getting into trouble even then… “Oh, you mean Voldemort!” Yusuke said cheerfully, apparently oblivious to the shocked expressions of Ron and Hermione. “Or as I like to call him, He-Who-is-a-Dumbass.” WOOT! Figures that Yusuke would come up with a name like that ^_~ Kudos.
Ronin-N-Gang 2006-07-30 ch 1,	abuse“So Yusuke, I’m sending you, Kurama, and Hiei there to pose as exchange students. Or, to be more specific, a student teacher in Kurama’s case. Even in the smartest house his intelligence would stick out. We’ll just increase his age by a year or two so he looks of age, and decrease yours so you appear to be thirteen. Hiei’s fine, he looks thirteen anyway.” Lil’ kid Yusuke ^^ that will be funny to see! And Hiei would kill Koenma if he ever heard that comment about his looks. But exactly how old does he plan on making Kurama? Hopefully not past his 20’s, that would be a bit strange if someone were to see two 13 year olds hanging with an older man, but then come to think of it it would look strange for them to hangout around a student teacher as well… Lupin will have a much larger role, which is always a good thing. Lupin will still be spotted in Fairl Plaza, but he’ll teach as well. (He’ll also –eventually- explain why he was there in the first place.) This will also help introduce another plot point, but you’ll have to figure that one out on your own. WOOT! I’ve been looking for a good story with Lupin in it ^^
