Dammit, this is a great story and better than where JKR took us. How could you give up? All I can say is, please rethink.

Personnally, I would tell my "parents" about the occlumency attack and ask why Bumbles felt it right to invade their privacy. I hope that Luna has more than confusion to protect her mind or someone will see her past self. Very good story, but they probably should have done a duel sibling bond so they don't look quite so much like Potters.

The story line rushes too fast in the beginning, I mean there is no explanation in the plot. Its just too fast to be a real plot. Can you describe things in more detail, at least on important parts.

Another great Chapter, but why do you spell Mr. Filch "Flich"? (you probably want to look for "clam" instead of "calm" in your earlier chapters as well ;) )

I'd ask for more great chapters, but as this is an adopted story, you'll probably do great on a different Story.
