First off, I'd like to congradulate you on such a wonderful story. 1,128 reviews. Now THAT'S impressive. And hopefully, though you may be sick of getting reviews that sound the same over and over, you'll take time to read this 1,129th review. It comes from the bottom of my heart. The first thing that crossed my mind, reading the first chapter was "ZOMG! Kay, either the baby is gonna die, or maybe Shippou (seeing as how he wasn't mentioned and even if he was, I didn't see), or maybe even-" And I continued to raffle off tragic endings in my head. I NEVER would have guessed the ending. Even Miroku had those visions at Midoriko's grave, I thought "Oh no! Kagome IS gonna lose the baby! InuKag probs had another baby after that, and that's Inuko! Aw, they're reaction is gonna be so sad! I wonder what Inuyasha will do..." I was still in denial up until Midoriko said he couldn't be saved. If I hand't been on the couch with my family, watching TV (or at least they were), I would have SOBBED, which I'm guessing was your goal. Well, congrats again. I can still feel the presure of tears held back, at least half an hour after reading the story. In fact, it's giving me a migrane. But it wasn't all sad, and I'm glad you added that balance. Those little bits of fluff, like the flying, really made my feel warm inside...and mad at the fact that I don't have a boyfriend like Inu-baka. Speaking of Bakas, you kept all the characters perfectly in character. All in all, beautiful story. Very little spelling mistakes, good descriptive words, and I'm gonna stop talking about grammer cause you've probably fallen asleep. Keep writting, you have a real gift.

I cried for an hour after reading the end! Why did Inuyasha have to die?! Why did you have to cause Kagome that much pain?! Why! Why...?

Enjoyed the story. The last chapter was tragically beautiful, Inuyasha welcoming his love to eternity. My only critique is in the writing style, mostly w/ connecting sentences w/ "as". I find this a frequent critique of mine. Most of the sentences would have done well with other connectors like "while", "before", or just done as separate sentences. Also, it isn't always necessary to reiterate where or when an action is taking place once the location/action has already been established in a prior paragraph. This is usually understood in the rest of the scene.

Your story was awesome! it was so good, i love how you kept the characters and how they act and all so close to what they would would be. you wrote it so well, i almost cried at the end. but it was great!

Honestly, this is the chapter that made me cry. I'm sitting here crying over my math homework. Is it insane to feel like this over fictional characters? Now I should finish reading the story and mop up my computer desk.

This story had my bawling my eyes out at the end.

I usually get really raving-pissed off mad when authors kill off main characters in the end, but I can't bring myself to be irritated since it was such a tragic, beautiful story.

(Of course I got a bunch of weird looks from my mother whilst sitting at the counter crying at my computer) But it was very much worth the read.

Though I don't think I'll get over it for a while. XD

I truly, utterly, completely enjoyed that terrific story; it was so good that I simply couldn't stop reading it the way I can other fics :) Your characterizations were right on the mark, the events were captivating, and their romance... ah, their romance... so dreamy, yet so sad... I so wish that they could have lived with poor little Inuko... He didn't have to end up alone like his father did... Perhaps an AU could fix that, huh ;P

All in all, though, it was a beautiful tragedy; thanks for sharing it with us (and for completing it!)

Your story was really sad. At first I looked at the other reviews and sad I wouldn't cry it couldn't be that sad, but it really was. I felt so bad for Inuko. Its almost like his life is just like InuYasha's except for he will have Sango and Miroku to care for him. That was what really made me cry was their little boy. I just have to say your story is excellent and just wow. Your talented.
