Wow this was a really good story b/c it seems like that really could be the backstory for Addison/Mark before she came to Seattle. Your did great and you need to write another one pleasse

That was so great. Addison is my favorite character, and you did such a great job describing her. I love Addison and Derek together, but this was pretty heartbreaking to read, what with the flashbacks of him blowing her off. I just hope that she leaves him next season. Again, great job. You should definitely write more.

You know what? I really like this! I've never taken the time to think about what it must have been like for Mark in this story. He was just the lousy friend, the cheap, tawdry way for Addison to scream for Derek's attention.

But, after reading your story, I think that it is very plausible that things might have happened just as you wrote them. Chances are at least 50/50 that Derek's best friend was a decent guy that simply lost his way in the Shepherd turmoil.

I like waivering about whether or not Addison and/or Mark were Satan incarnate (remember Derek called Addy "Satan" when she showed up in Seattle), or were just hurting human beings trying to get through life.

On the other hand, perhaps Satan is smart enough to lull us into thinking along those lines and forget the reality of evil in this world?
