I love how you show instead of telling--we know what's wrong with Dean, even better, we feel it along with Sam, without you ever actually laying it out. Good writing. I also like the back and forth style. I would love to see a sequel to this some day, what exactly Missouri meant by things only getting worse unless Dean figures this out. But it's a great ending, too.

I just read this and Under the Spider Tree, and they're both amazingly brilliant. If Dean did have a power I think it would be something like this, and I love the way it ties into Sam's power, connecting them even more.

I loved this. It's a great perspective on the "What if Dean had powers" question. Part of me wants/wanted Dean to have powers in the show (because I worried about him being neglected) and part of me hopes they keep him as he is because they really haven't neglected him at all. Still, I love the speculation, especially well written speculation, and this was definately well written. Thanks!

So now I'm becoming a real fan!! I loved this, and I find the idea that Dean has some sort of power very interesting (the fact that this power causes its fair share of angst only makes the whole story more appealing for this particular lover of Dean-whumping.).
