Great parody! A tiny bit of iffy grammar, but I suppose I should be complaining that this story is entirely in English. What kind of parody is it, if we can actually read it in the intended language?
I wanted to quote all my favorite lines here, but there ended up being too many...

That one part with Gendo screaming "rei!" to get more air time.
I think that and a story which I can't remember where Gendo takes out a sock puppet and says " Your the only one who understands me socko"

I actually read this when you had first posted it. I don't know why I waited so long to review...

Anyway. This brand of silliness is right up my alley. Just like like a mother's knee to to her husband's manhood. It actually made me laugh outloud, and when I read I never do that. I mean...it's been *years*. The cliches you've lampooned in this story are exactly the reason why I love ACC's and well-explained OOCness. Change is so, so good.

You know, I'd be able to forgive him for just about everything Gendo apologized for at the end, except one thing; charging five bucks for a cup of coffee at headquarters is simply horrendous. That other stuff isn't so bad, but FIVE BUCKS? jezus christ! No wonder everyone at NERV is psychologically damaged!

I'd say 'great job' or 'awesome', but I think you've heard that from enough people already. So I'll just complain about the coffee and blame you like you deserve to be blamed.

ZOMG, thank you man. Seriously. This fic puts in EVERY possible Cliche I'm tired of in the Eva community EXCEPT the 'Shinji gets some balls from a different house hold' one.

And yes I have to admit I'm just aboot ** tired of the Yui hates Gendo when she comes out. I think that for originality there should be a fic where she DOESN'T blame him. Otherwise thank you for writing this it was good for a laugh man.

Wonderfully awful. So horrificly bad it was actually bearable. Enjoyable even. You did forget two cliches I can think of, but they are pretty minor. There's the Maya/random techie #7 is Seele and extended Seele/Kaji clicheness, and the lamest one of all "author gets bored after main pairing gets defined and doesn't want to bother tying things up, or in a misguided attempt to appear artistic, decides to end it all nice and neat by killing off all the main characters with third impact and/or JSSDF/SEELE invasion, rendering the rest of the plot development moot." *glares at Adam* Yeah, that one really sucks.

In a good, funny, hilarious way.

This was hillarious. From the very begining to the very end. It's like every Evangelion story I've ever read is made fun of here. The Beethoven line was priceless. I don't think anyone can top it. I also greatly enjoyed the last few lines with Gendo's turn around. I guess when you get kneed in the crotch it makes you want to seriously re-evalute your life.

Dear sweet holy matrimony! Whenever I decide that I've stumbled upon the most hilarious Eva-fic yet, I get surprised once again by another and another and another. This just happens to be the latest ones, but unlike others, you have expertly put every sentence to use as a means of illustriously illustrating (well that was redundant) your main idea.

My favorite moments in this story were Shinji's realization of self monologue and the mention of Deus ex Machina. The runner up would be the scientific parody and suspense you built between Maya and Ritsuko in the battle sequence. Lastly, the way you managed to just pile and heap on the idioms and descriptors that summed up every character was such an intuitive and insightful touch that I was amazed.
