One word: Wow! I have never read a Ghost in the Shell fanfic, but if they are all as good as this one, I would definitely read more.

He’s going to run out of webbing sometime. If I remember the manga correctly, it seemed to be a liquid stored in tanks and maybe heated...unless he takes after spiders in more than form and can synthesize 'silk' somehow?

I do wonder how good his dexterity is. But then, the gamer was able to pic up those Go pieces without any trouble, so three digits would probably suffice to load shells.

Hmm. Might he use splinter/dazzle patterns to help disrupt enemy sightings? Of course, if he's spotted by a 'stupid' machine or radar that wouldn’t really work, but it could confuse a human brain (or near-human-intelligence) for the seconds it might take to react. Technology coming full circle again...*tries to picture the rogue*

About the Author's Notes about Batou having a huge cross to bear, well if you must know, in the upcoming Ghost in the Shell Movie, Kusanagi has left section 9 and then two years later they encounter each other again and this time perhaps as foes (she warns him to stay away from the new target Section 9 is hunting and when Batou encounters her, he has a fully loaded assault rifle aimed at her and with a grim look on his face).

Yay, the return of the glue gun! That thing's awesome . . . That Tachikoma just seems to be getting smarter and smarter.

I really like this story. It's like watching an episode of the anime. When the characters talk, I can almost "hear" their voices in my head. I look forward to more, please update soon.

I’m fascinated with being able to 'see' this Tachikoma's thoughts at work. Poor fellow’s coming apart at the seams, and no wonder - what with 9 dead sisters plus the equivalent of 'mom and dad' echoing around upstairs...

One question, though. If he’s using a scrapped body from season one, how does he have memory-echoes of events that occurred to the Tachikoma collective in season 2? The secondary data stores wouldn’t have been updated since the Tachi’s core brains were relocated…?

I like the Tachikoma pov. I like how you bring in the Uchikoma, dispite the fact that I don't like those tanks much.

Anywho, great memories of Motoko and Batou,it really adds depth to the Tachikoma:)
