That was great, I love how you showed Legolas and Estel trying to get use to each other, poor Legolas dripping wet with swamp muck and Estel asking if he was going to get spanked. You made me giggle at that, well me dear I'm off to read some of your other stories...please keep writing.

That was bloody fantastic and I think ive answered my own question :P Legolas' constant resistance, Estel being much like a little demon during there first meeting, the family's (Glorfindel's) protective nature over what is said about Estel. Of course that 'swamp monster' scene was bloody hilarious. Just the thought of them all converging no matter there stat of dress was brilliant.

All interaction was good though. The way that danger sprung up and Estel and Legolas' reactions to it, thoughts and Elrohir's decisions and Elladan's presence. Also the way they finally accepted the friendship or rather Legolas' succumbing to it. And his comment at the end is particularly sweet.

Look to put it bluntly, I couldn't fault this and wouldn't want even if i tried because I enjoyed reading it to bits! ^_^ Truly, this one had me laughing out loud many times (ought to put a 'no drinks warning' really lol)

I loved this story. Estel is so adorable. Plus Legolas is so brother-like during the times he's alone with Estel. Oh and I loved the ending. Great job. Keep up the good work!

Just finished this story and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Above all I loved your dialogue - the banters between Estel and the twins were especially hilarious, and I love your characterizations of all of the main characters. I think you have a particular talent for writing for a very realistic young Aragorn, and I look forward to reading your other works!

Estel really is a healer I guess, even from just nine years old. He managed to keep Legolas aluve long enough for people to get to him, which just proves that they really are good friends... or will be. (Furvtive look at Legolas, starts reading LOTR when she is certain he's asleep)

Ah yes, and we return to the spanking incident. Nothing will ever get the image of a scared Legolas being smacked by Elrond out of my head. It's too funny.

(Sighs happily) A really lovely touching scene there between the two. I like the idea of Leggy not wanting to get too attached to Estel. Seems to fit somehow. I also liked the background we got about their parents- it was helpful without seeming forced. And the bit about Estel being worried he'd frget what his parents looked like was really sweet. All in all, nothing seemed badly written, you are one of those rare precious authors who has consistent perfect grammar, (Or if it's not perfect, I haven't noticed it,) and in general, a story that I think if Tolkien had read, he would be proud of.

I loved Estel's little lecture on princes and Elladan's reaction to it. And the "After my story, and my song, and my treat." You portray baby Aragorn really well...
But for some reason, I just can't picture him without a beard. O_O

This was a wonderful story! I just recently got hooked on LOTR Fan Fiction and this story touched my heart so deeply, I felt myself crying along with poor little Estel when he thought Legolas could not be his friend. Great Story!
