So I'm trolling and I stumble across this and it's amazing and thank you so much for posting it. That scene seems so much more complete now. I loved this.

A great story. I liked the part where Kate and Angel were talking.

Sometimes Kate can be a pain. But she has her reasons, no matter how illogical they may be.

I love the way Angel and Kate connected. Of course, giving them time to understand each are two things which stand a snowball's chance in hell of popping up during the show. The dialogue is terrific, very in-character. I thought Angel's looong history whizzed by kinda fast. It was a nice read. :)

Wonderful piece. Of course, I always thought that there was much more to that conversation then what we, as viewers were privy to see, but you found a way to express it beautifully! I've always like Kate from the standpoint that she reminds me of a female Angel in some ways, and you illustrated the similarties between the two quite well. Congratulations!

A nice "missing scene" piece. Some of Angel's dialogue seems overly formal ("I regained my soul, but I could no longer remain with Buffy...For Buffy’s friends, my face had become synonymous with that of the monster who had terrorized them..."; these seem more like written than spoken words). What I like best about the story is the forward-looking nature of it, in that it raises very interesting questions about Kate's future. What will she do now? Do the PTB have a plan for her? I'm far more curious about that now than when I first watched "Epiphany", which says something about how much this fic adds to the existing story. Oh, and I liked the Subaru comment. :)

I already reviewed this story, but I really do love this Katie. I like the way you kept both Kate and Angel in character, and this could easily fit into Joss Whedon's storyline. I love it, but I always love everything you write.
