This was a nice piece of writing. Bellatrix, the evil, insane murderer, but not a sociopath, not really, because she still has human feelings. Down deep, she still is capable of guilt, even if it's limited to her own blood. And Narcissa is such a cold **, and yet one wonders whether she said it only to prevent Bella from doubting her.

I really enjoyed this story. Its interesting to think of Bella being upset about killing Sirius, because she didn't seem upset in the book. I noticed that in the book, the flash of light she shot at him was not the green of Avada Kedavra, so she wasn't aiming to kill just then. Very cool.

I thought this a bit odd, in most of your stories Bella never cares about the deaths she causes. I realize that as her cousin she's care more for Sirius's death, but Narcissa surprised me. Isn't Bella the one who would usually have said, "It’s for the best." ? I didn't expect Bella to break down like that in your story. Its nice, just...different.

My favorite part is the one where she says why she didn't use the killing curse on Sirius.

This is bloody brilliant!
I loved how she felt sorry about killing him, and how she had been the one to teach him to duel.
I'm depressed thinking about it :(!

I really like it. ^_^ I think it's good tat it was Cissa that said that, not Bella, because I think Narcissa was never truly evil, but her family and her blind loyalty to her family stopped her from being truly good. Also, Bellatrix has no conscience, so her views on Sirius's death were quite realistic; she didn't regret it, but she was fighting against her heart to prove to herself that he was no longer family, he deserved it and he didn't matter. How Do you get all these reviews...

Wonderful fic! I like Bellatrix's thoughts on killing Sirius, how it wasn't a happy event, but to her, it was necessary and she didn't regret it. I loved the relationship between Bellatrix and Narcissa too.

Great fic; I loved it!

I would have expected Bella to pull the "It's for the best." line. Not Cissy.

I liked this one too, I like that you write about Narcissa and Bellatrix feelings when not many people do!

Oh. Narcissa :0 I love your Black family stories. They make me rather ashamed of mine.

It never crossed my mind that Bella feel anything about Sirius's death, but thinking about it once the fighting lust passed it is clearly likely she would have felt something.

I also quite like the way that narcissa is worse than Bella, even though she doesn't kill anyone, her sheer attitude is completely damning. No wonder Draco was brought up so mean!

That was really nice. I like the idea (possibley because I write it obsessively) that for the Old Families, blood relationships and loyalty are the most important things. I really liked the Narcissa/Bella interaction, it's perfectly in cannon, but you don't hate either of them.

This is once again a fabulous fic. There is an unspoken tension in Bella when she thought about Sirius but it seems to fade a little at Narcissa's entrance. I think it showed the relationships between them perfectly- Bella didn't regret killing Sirius but in another sense she never though it would really come down to this. There is something awfully humane in that as all of us are like that at one point or another. And the different kind of strength 'Cissy' provided just interlinks into the story wonderfully.

I've read each of your fics, and I must say I love the way you portray the Black family. There's so much subtlety and tension, but at the same time, such a fierce familial love and passion that withstands and transcends what we normally think of when they are called to mind. There's a rare humanity in your writing; you take your characters outside of fiction and, I think, reflect a little bit of what is inside each of us. And all of this is done beneath the facade of fanfiction. I tip my hat to you.
