I'm suprised this doesn't have more reviews! It is extremely poetic and flows with ease. Great job. You should write more with Lucian and Erika, for some reason I enjoy the pairing.

Interesting... I don't think I've ever read a Erika/Lucian before. Neat. Especially with the French mixed in.

The imagery is lovely as was the dialog. I particularly liked the languishing French that's sort of thrown into the rich language. It fit the mood rather nicely. The only thing I was really confused about was your choice of book ending. With the italics at the beginning and end. It made perfect sense at the beginning but I wasn't so sure about the end. Loved it in and of itself though. Very poetic and just... nice. Keep up the good work. I look forward, as always, to reading more.
