outlaw author 2007-03-16 . chapter 2Wow, I really like your idea! From what I've read of "A Little Geste of Robin Hood," your story seems to follow it pretty well so far, but you've taken the original words and made the story your own in a very pleasing way. I love your characterizations - distinct and accurate - especially of Robin as "the very picture of happy laziness" and of Much and Will "as happy as pigs in mud." One of my favorite parts is when John is measuring out the money and the cloth. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to read more!

XmeowX 2006-09-12 . chapter 2Pounds weren't around then. Bad Garren. Very bad Garren. :)
The money then would have been marks (or benchmarks), pennies and shillings.
Apart from that very true to the era, and uber-well written. It's really true to the original ballads. Well done. |
XmeowX 2006-06-17 . chapter 1Yay! Something that isn't a parody! Very true to the Gest Of Robyn Hode, with Robin praying to the virgin and everything.

Lady Sorciere 2006-06-17 . chapter 1 Hey. I'm too lazy to log in. And considering it's midnight and I'm going shopping tomorrow, I'll make this short. I like it! Especially Much; he makes me laugh. Poor little guy! And, I can't wait to see The Knight's Tale. Is that a reference to the movie of the same name with Heath Ledger *swoon*? I love that movie! Well, I'l close. So, update soon!
