Arabella Lee Smith 2009-10-11 . chapter 3I put you on my faves list after reading Yours and Yours and Yours, (now Strong Poison) So I got an e-mail about this chapter. Thank you for a realistic view of student/teacher romance. He did the only thing he could.
Oddly, just this summer I suggested calling our car Mr. Tilney. |

 duj 2009-10-11 . chapter 3Welcome back :))
An unexpectedly sweet end. Some people don't change much in their affections. |
Bambu 2009-10-11 . chapter 3This is marvelous. I think you've captured their dynamics beautifully, and laid to waste the pretensions of many of us who write a young Hermione with an adult Severus. |
debjunk 2009-10-11 . chapter 3Lovely story. I can understand why he nipped her infatuation in the butt. I can also see him thinking about her for so long, yet doing nothing. Glad he finally got the nerve. Seems like things worked out after all. |
 blackeyedlily 2009-10-10 . chapter 3Truely lovely! |
blackeyedlily 2009-10-10 . chapter 2Very interesting. I'm enjoying your protrayal of Snape's inner dialog reasoning out his dilemna. |
blackeyedlily 2009-10-10 . chapter 1Great beginning. Trust Mia for a great fic rec. |
ilsa27 2009-10-10 . chapter 3This was gorgeous. I loved the subtleties of Snape's musings and yes - I rather agree that the 'I'm a monster she's too young for me line' is rather stale when taken to extremes, and the slow, quiet acceptance of Snape's emotions was wonderful to behold. I love the student-teacher relationship to death and its brought out best in quiet conflict like this.
Your style is so lyrical and beautiful as well, Snape and Hermione stayed in character throughout. I loved his musings on her childishness and his batlike persona that had become second nature - it was such an insight. |
