Heh heh! That's good! She may not HATE Kagome, but she isn't above feeling a bit of satisfaction that everyone compares her unfavorably to her predecessor. And her own feelings of superiority come through in her choice of words: Kagome's "pathetic attempts" to call forth and control her powers. Underneath her professed lack of scorn still lurks the heart of a jealous **. That's the Kikyou I believe in. LOL!!

very interesting! instead of Kagome moping around about how people are so annoying comparing her to the great and powerful Kikyo and everything (sarcasm, by the way, and i'm not a Kagome-basher) it's from Kikyo's POV! i thought that it held new light and it would teach Kikyo-haters a thing or two. very nicely done! n-n

Great job! That does sound like something that Kikyou would say. I like that part:

My soul is distressed. It tosses and trashes in my body, clearly unsettled.

It just seems to flow and bend like water and leads to the rest of the story like one-big ocean. Nevermind, that sounded corny! But your story roxs and you need to keep up the good work and update. And by the way, why do so many people hate Kikyou and Kagome? God, their opposites and yet so many people are saying trash and starting hate clubs of both girls. seriously! Geez.
