Good story. It was well-written and very true to the characters. I actually wrote a one-shot about what happened right after the scene in the hospital wing, but yours is less fluffy! I actually hate JK for killing Remus and Tonks... :( they're such wonderful characters, and you've made a great job with them, especially for your first Remus/Tonks!

I figured I'd return the fic reviewing favor and (of course) I read the Remus/Tonks first. The summary was great, and I absolutely loved the beginning.
The end? It was good but it was kind of a quick. I HATED "“I can’t do this anymore,” Remus muttered. " I absolutely HATED that part. If you transitioned differently it would'e been a lot better. (but i'm being mean, aren't I?) I love the patronus part. Especially how Tonks fails to explain it in more detail. "A big wolf." That part was priceless.

Anyways, all in all it WAS a great fic, I liked it a lot, but that one part where Remus turns was really starting to annoy me. But it was a nice "hidden moment" between the hospital wing and dear Dumbly's funeral.

Seriously, though, that was great. Both of them were perfectly in character, but better, somehow. Their argument was perfect and I absolutely loved Remus's "Beauty and the Beast" comment and how Tonks reacted to it. It's really, really sweet. :)
