This was amazing. I especially enjoyed the strong characterisation of all the Freedom Fighters, Bunnie in particular. The character development on Metal Sonic was sheer joy to read, and the scene where the power ring rebuilds him and his programming gets all screwy and obsessed with Sally was extremely compelling. The BunniexAntoine fan in me roars in rage that they didn't end up together, but the romantically ambiguous ending for her felt natural and right.

On the other end, 'Metic' is a dumb name, and I would have loved to have seen more of Robotnik and Snively.

In the end though, this fic was a roller-coaster ride through the streets of Awesome-town. Forty thumbs up.

this story was amazing i loved the end that was so great to see sonic get his uncle back and the other thing i enjoyed was that bunnie was de-roboticzed and adding metic was very interesting to read about

Wow. After reading this, I feel great. I love what you did with Metic. And Bunnie! Oh Bunnie... I feel ya. Most writers, judging by what I've read, wouldn't have made this believable. But this... this is more than believable. It seem like it actually happened! Geez, I love this story. 10/10

BTW, you wouldn't happrn to have partially based Metic's metal-kinesis on Zed, the metal-eating robot from SWAT Kats, would you? Just out of curiosity...

Utterly amazing... I must admit that I find it hard to fault "Metal Sonic Gets Emotions" type fics in any way as I love them so much, but you have managed both tick all the boxes for the type of that fic, and present them with such style, substance and finesse that I have trouble finding a griveance, though I admit I focused mainly on that line of the story while reading it.
You also included a dash of Metal x Bunnie, which as a pairing I am amazingly partial to, unfortunately its rarer than hens teeth!
Leaving the pairing open was a delightful way to leave things to the readers imgination and it was so refreshing to see Antione with a little back-bone (which usually only happens in fics where he's paired with Bunnie HEAVELY).
You've helped highlight a lot of problems with a Metallix fic I had that I've had on hietus for ages and faces a complete re-write. I'll list this fic as a inspiration if by the powers that be it ever get finished...
I also liked Snively surviving... I always had soft spot for the poor little guy, and the ripping spines effect that reminded me of the old Silver Sonic...

this was my faveret sonic series, as i said earlyer. i never saw the entire thing. i don't think it was ever showen here in it's entirity. this fic leaves me wishing once again that i had, and that i could.

i didn't really see snively's switch as That surpriseing, but it would certainly be interesting to see some of his point of view of things.

Tieing up the storys loose ends, but still leaveing questions and potentual. the best way to end, i think :)

all up, this is a very well done finish to a most excilant piece. you deserve an award for this, seriously :)

I've only read two chapters so far, but I am enjoying this. SatAM introduced me to the blue blur and you got the characters just right.

My biggest suggestion would be to pick one point-of-view character and stick to them. That helps the reader feel as if they are taking the journey with that character, rather than jumping from one character's mind to another. For example, if the story is to focus on Bunnie (as the start of this chapter seems to suggest it will), try presenting the events from her point of view. That would make this good story even better!

BTW--That chase between Sonic and Metal Sonic had me on the edge of my chair! Good job!

Wow! This is one of the best 'fics I've seen using the SatAM universe! You have done a splended job on it while keeping the characters in character.

I hope you do make a sequel to it.
