I really like this story.
It was sad but, I liked it.
It showed a different part of Misaki. (But, I still think she's a ** for hurting Ritsuka. DX)
But, this was very well written.

sorry but she is insane.No mother no matter what happened to their child would do that(well most). when i changed from prep to emo/goth/punk my mother did nothing about it. and all he has is memory lose. that comes back after a certen amount of time...what she is doing to Ritsuka is not right not matter what her reason is...i'm sorry if this upsets u but it is what i thing

this is a good story. my only problem is that in both the manga and anime it's clear that ritsuka loses his memory when he's ten, two years before seimei dies.

It's good. I too think that Ritsuka's mother would be thinking that. It does show a bit of her inner dialog in volume 5 (?) and this story compliments that. Nice job^^

Wow this is great. I think Misaki is an unappreciated character and I'm glad that someone wanted to show things through her eyes!

i dont think she is evil but i do think shes a crazy **. but thats the point shes crazy.

Nobody ever said her reasons weren't valid... but that doesn't take away the torment that Ritsuka goes through. I think it's good that you wanted to make a point about this character though.

Hey this was really good. I have to say, I dont think she's evil or something like that, just seriously mental after a double dose of shock with Ritsuka, and then Seimei. But you did really good for this. Nice job.

Well, it's never revealed in the anime nor in the licensed manga so far, but Ritsuka's mother does get finally get some internal monologue in the later volumes (five, six) of the manga...where it's pretty much revealed that she isn't some evil sicko, but can't control her actions...or something. The point is that she isn't a one-dimensional crazy villain.

Just...don't base conclusions off of the anime (which was only a long and sparkly teaser trailer for the manga, basically...) and what little Tokyopop has released.

Regarding the story...for a first fanfic, it's actually pretty good. A nice character-driven piece. I *do* have some criticisms and a major one is that Seimei did *not* die at the same time Ritsuka's lost his memories...Seimei actually died only a few months (or even a few weeks) before Loveless began, and Ritsuka lost his memories around two years ago, when Seimei was alive. I'm surprised at the frequency people mix these two events' dates up. And your prose is a little...funny...but I never liked first person fanfiction very much, anyway, but this one didn't mother me as much as most first person fanfiction does.

Good job, though. ESPECIALLY for a first fanfic...the first fanfics I wrote were Mary Sues. >_> You're a good writer, though you may need an editor, I did get a rather odd..."stiff"..feeling from your prose. Sorry. >

Hmph. She -is- a crazy **. Even if Ritsuka isn't the same, doesn't mean she has to freaking ABUSE him. I know that she's sad since she lost Semei, but just because Ritsuka isn't the same doesn't mean she needs to:
Example: Stab him with a freaking fork.

She's his mother. She should love him no matter what.
