catseyebow 2008-06-26 . chapter 6just a little heavy on the reverence for sam but otherwise a very nice chapter! |
catseyebow 2008-06-26 . chapter 5sorry about not reviewing before this chapter but i really like how your writing this story i got really mad at the show writers when then only thing we got to see about how badly sam was injured was when see asked to be relieved and i think this is a good sotry about what did happen! |
Karigan Wolfshead 2008-06-17 . chapter 7Nice, but please do not leave it hanging! |
hedwiggins 2007-12-02 . chapter 7This was a wonderful story told from the point of view of various people about Sam. It's the kind of story that could well have been the episode following the episode "Grace"; but which the producers don't have time to tell. (Just move right on to the next episode and skip the healing process in any story in the series.) I loved Col. Ronson's telling of how much respect he had for Carter in figuring a way to get the crew back and then get the ships out of the cloud, and how the whole crew felt about her. And also how most of the SGC wanted to help bring her home and how so many of them were then when she was brought through the Gate. She is a very special woman, who is so humble about who she is and her abilities and would probably say she didn't deserve all the admiration and respect and praise she was getting. And I just love how protective the guys are about her, even though she is such a strong, independent woman. Got a little tear in my eye while reading about how much respect people had for her and the outpouring of support and good wishes for her speedy recovery. Great story. |
 Strix varia25 2007-07-16 . chapter 7I liked it! Thanks for sharing. |

Unputdownable 2006-08-08 . chapter 7Wonderful story. Very well written and very touching. |
 7 League Boots 2006-07-21 . chapter 7EEK, didn't update my reviews!
Excellent tale. It's a wonderful homage to the person who consistently makes it all happen at the SGC and thus makes it possible to save the planet (and various other races and galaxies) without thought for herself. The tale being told from the pov of the ship's captain, Janet, SG-1 and all were awesome examples of Sam's special place in their lives. Beautiful visuals here, esp in the ship's corridor and in the gateroom. Emotional and uplifting and great SG-1 team stuff. Applause, applause, thanks. |
Sci Fi Fan Gillian 2006-07-20 . chapter 7Great story. |
Chopin Gal 2006-07-19 . chapter 7Speechless ... a brilliant first attempt at writing Sam and the team oh so well! Kudos! Thoroughly enjoyed this intelligent and witty look at what we didn't get to see.
Can't wait to read your next, mystery writer from Samanda! hehehehe |
SG1-Fanfic 2006-07-18 . chapter 7Great show of respect - having all the folks around when they came through the 'Gate, too.
Loved the way that you flowed the story into the Sam-Jack exchange at the end of 'Grace'.
Excellent job, NC!
Please post more Sam-fic :) (I'm a greedy reader) |
SG1-Fanfic 2006-07-18 . chapter 6LOL at 'Head Trip'... (and that it's the title of Chopingal's fanfic) Also LOL at your other options for names for the stretcher... Non-Vomit Comet! Head Stretcher!
Loved your design of the stretcher, as well.
Really liked how you had the Prometheus crew carry Sam off their ship and then hand her over to SG-1. Loved the respect that it showed. |
SG1-Fanfic 2006-07-18 . chapter 5Good job explaining how Ronson didn't know that Sam was missing.
Loved the 'core of steel' description of Sam |
SG1-Fanfic 2006-07-18 . chapter 4Loved the references to Sam's motorcycle riding! Great description of the boulder field and what they had to do to create a path. Great job showing all the concern and effort being put into getting her back safely. |
