There are obviously still some feelings lingering on both sides here...and I can't help but like that! It's really ironic how it's more forbidden for them to be together now then it was when she was just a teenager. You'd think it would be ok now since they're both adults, but they're both taken...but that can be fixed lol.

Chris is right, how can they be "just friends" after everything that has happened between them in their past? They've been intimate and they've loved each other and that changes everything, right?

I can't wait to see where this goes. Is it me or are they being really touchy feely without even noticing that they're doing it? Do that in front of the wrong person and the rumors will fly...maybe that's what we want to happen =)

It's years later and they're still acting like a couple. I think it's just in their head because everything seemed to be unconscious, like her twirling his hair around her finger or tugging on her shirt. He didn't even really take note of them like they were just supposed to happen. They really do want each other, I think. They should just end this charade and be together again.

Ack! Those two need to stop tiptoeing around and admit they still want each other!! Loved the line "my lips have touched places on you that they’ve never touched on another wrestler". That's hot ;-) I'm sure they're headed toward admitting their true feelings - she's always touching him and complimenting him and he's always doing the same with her. Can't wait for it to happen!

This was a nice little chapter that let Chris and Stephanie slip back into each others lives so flawlessly. You can tell there is still something there after all the time apart, what with Chris trying not to hurt Stephanie's feelings at anything he said and then the bit with the discussing the music was really telling, he completely ignored Jessica just to make sure Stephanie knew that she meant something to him. I also liked where you mentioned Chris's type and how it was blond and small, and how Stephanie went against that - I think Chris found his perfect match with Stephanie and subconsciously doesn't want someone like Stephanie because it would remind him too much of what he had with her.

Tim seems nice, Jessica seems boring.

Aw, they are so going to get back together ;-) No way she can be in his life and just be friends. I'm surprised Tim and Jessica couldn't feel the tension between those two with the glances at each other & explaining what they meant so as not to hurt the other one's feelings, etc. It should be interesting to see how long they can maintain the "just friends" mantra before they give in to their true feelings. Looking forward to that happening ;-) Awesome update Nina!!

Yeah right...just friends. Just friends my booty. LOL! Oh and Chris knows he cares if she still likes or cares about him..that line about him not caring...what a load of crap! LOL! Good chapter, I feel a big build up.

I don't like Tim and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because he's Stephanie's boyfriend, maybe it's because he keeps messing with her while she's trying to work, maybe it's because he's just not Chris. Just something about him makes me not want to like him. I do like the fact that he invited Chris and Jessica to dinner with them. That's going to be very interesting, very very interesting!

Something that made me think... Stephanie claims to love Tim but she doesn't want to marry him, can't really see herself marrying him. Yet, she says if Chris had come back six months after he left all those years ago, she would've married him. That's a clue! They should just be together...

Jessica... She seemed ok, until she and Chris walked away and she started talking about how young Steph seemed. I don't think she was trying to be really mean or whatever but it just seemed mean. Maybe she was just making an observation though...

Chris seems to have some feelings resurfacing for our dear Stephanie, and that makes me smile. I wonder how this dinner is going to play out with them. Footsie under the table? Lol.

Let's just say, I can't wait to read the next chapter!

You had to go and make Stephanie and Tim really cute, didn't you? They were sweet together and he really doesn't seem like a bad guy. I wonder how this will play out because he's not a horrible person and it would seem mean of Steph to dump him now. Here I am getting ahead of myself when Chris is with Jessica. It's still there between them though, I think Chris is really feeling it, how long before they give in again? I hope not too long.

So glad for the update. This is one of my faves of your incomplete stories. I can't wait to see Chris and Steph rekindle their romance. I love that he was her first. Thanks for the update.

Nicely done bringing their other halves in. Tim is alright, he seems like a fun guy, albeit slightly annoying, whereas Jessica is just downright annoying. Did she have a crush on you? Tell me you let her down gently. She looks so young. Yes, she looks so young compared to a hag like you. I so don't like Jessica. She should like get uncomfortable at how well Chris and Stephanie get on and they should have inside jokes that go way back.

I really love Chris and Steph in this cause they fall into friends so nicely, but still showing that there's something there. And I can't wait till they both figure out that those feelings never left.

On my quest to catch up on all of your amazing fics, I decided to start with this one. I've been waiting for a while to find out what was going to happen next so I could slap myself for waiting to read this.

Anyway...

I find it interesting that the entire time before his debut, Chris was thinking about Stephanie and wondering if she was still the same as she used to be. You'd think he'd be more interested in the fact that he was making his debut in a huge company, but no, he was thinking of Stephanie. I know he has Jessica and all but my mind still thinks...well you know!

I liked how there didn't seem to be any awkwardness between them at all. Like at the little place where they went to eat and Chris told her about her blushing when she took her clothes off... Was that not a little flirty?

Last few lines of the chapter...famous last words? I hope so.

They were so cute when they met up again. It was just like old times for them and I loved that. I think some of those old feelings are still there though. I wonder if they'll get back together.

Yay, 23 chapters in and the story's just beginning - that's what I love about your stuff, you establish a background so it's not like we're just jumping into something. I really liked this chapter, because it re-established Chris and Stephanie and where they're at now and like they're still the same person, but older. And yet they felt at ease with each other.

I can't wait to see where things progress with them, since that they're both with different people. It should be an intresting ride.
