It was beautiful. According to my interpretation, the king was Kyouya and the flower was Tamaki. He is speaking of how he's trying to keep Tamaki to himself and in the end, has to let Tamaki go or else he'll suffer. Basically it's a melancholic fairy-taled version of (what he thinks) is his(Kyouya) future. What with his onesided love for Tamaki.
