| Larner 2008-08-15 ch 29, | abuseIt's a pleasure to be able to catch up on this one, too. Ah, Thoron, you have a LOT to learn! I'd love to see this one sent one day to Minas Tirith to attend one of the King's audiences and suddenly realize just whose aid it was he received! Heh! Nice, Linda. |
| Radka 2008-08-11 ch 29, anon. | abuseDear Linda, I read this chap the moment it appeared as updated on your LJ. I just forgot to review. So sorry :D I m excitedly looking forward to another chap. Hope it ll come soon, as I really adore this story! Thoron is such a rude fool! No respect to anybody! I m very curious who ll be chosen as the king on the celebration. Hope it ll be Aragorn. Thanks for so well written chap :) |
| Alhana Breeze 2008-08-01 ch 29, anon. | abuseI have decided to ask you for the next champer, and here it is. THANKS. Wonderful story, I love Faramir / Aragon frindship. |
| black4minister 2008-07-31 ch 29, | abuseoh! this story is fantastiic! i've read a couple of your stories and you have such a rare talent for weaving a complicated and filling story but making it easy to follow and move well. please update soon, i can't wait to see what happens next, i was so worried when you left it at the end of 'web of treason' and aragorn and faramir weren't talking to each other. update soon!! |
| Stoneage Woman 2008-07-30 ch 29, | abuseCorn dollies? What next! I'm so sorry for the delay in reviewing it- I'm now in second year, and the amount of work they've piled onto us is crazy...anyway. This chapter was great. Aragorn and Faramir in too loose breeches was a hilarious image! I loved this line: "At least this sprint had not entailed five days of running after two young hobbits seized by orcs!" Thoron is really quite painful...I hope he finds out who Aragorn is! That would be fun...Anyways, I gotta go. Thanks for a lovely read! |
| nautika 2008-07-29 ch 29, | abuseAs promised, I have finally found a few minutes to review! I'm sorry it took me so long. I was so excited to see an update of this and read it as soon as possible, but I have a stack of stories to review, thanks to some current challenges and award contests. I love how the King and his Steward are now adept at the making of corn dollies. This will serve them well with any daughters in their future, and should give Arwen and Eowyn something to tease them about or envy. The prediction of a granddaughter for Tasariel was a really nice touch. I'm interested to see if Thoron will mature in this story or if you have plans to make him nicer and more appreciative in a later story. I cant help but think that the parting from the village will be bittersweet now they are beginning to fit in a little better. I saw an update of Shadow and while I was pleased to see a new chapter, I was confused because I thought the story was complete, but it seems Chapter 37 is really chapter 1, revised. Ah, well. I'm just thrilled to see your Reap muse is alive and well. Update soon?! |
| jworthy68 2008-07-28 ch 29, anon. | abusePlease don't keep us waiting so long for the next chapter - this is one of my favorites! |
| Alcarin Elen 2008-07-26 ch 29, | abuseI was so glad to see this update! Thank-you so much! The borrowed breeches were great comedic entertainment. I hope that Thoron will begin to appreciate Aragorn a little bit more now that he has saved his life |
| szepilona10 2008-07-26 ch 29, | abuseGreat chapter! Update soon please! God Bless! ~Szepilona10~ |
| utfrog 2008-07-26 ch 29, anon. | abuseHooray for an update! I liked this piece, but I am now looking forward to an eventual ending so we can enjoy "our heroes" explaining their adventures in detail to their wives! As always, thank you so much. |
| slef 2008-07-26 ch 29, | abuseWonderful update! One has to admire Aragorn's patience with his patient here, I'd have used a Vulcan neck pinch on him ;) But so little of Faramir :( I hope he'll have more to do in the next chapter... Leoni |
| acacia59601 2008-07-25 ch 29, | abuseWonderful chapter, I'm amazed at those two Healer's patience with their ungrateful patient... I'd have whacked him over the head with a bed pan by that point, but then I'm no nurse! |
| JuliaAurelia 2008-07-25 ch 29, | abuseGood chapter! I enjoyed the description of Aragorn and Faramir making the corn dollies, and giggled over the reference to Aragorn's winged feet. Thoron was an absolute brat, but I was glad Aragorn was able to save him despite his rude attitude. I also like the idea of the villages being stocked with the proper healing supplies. Maybe somebody from the HOH back at MT could take charge of such a project. I liked Aragorn's flash of foresight about the baby being a girl who would grow up to be a healer. Looking forward to the next chapter and the harvest celebration. |
| Raksha The Demon 2008-07-25 ch 29, | abuseIt certainly wsa an inspired notion to have that bratty Thoron get hurt - though rather more painful for Aragorn and Tasariel than for Thoron, what with all the fuss the kid made. Everything's finally settling down for our weary heroes - about time! |
| Siriusly Loopy 2008-07-25 ch 29, | abuseGosh, I hate Thoron!! Tasariel is very lucky, though. :D I'm glad she will have someone to carry on her talents. |
