becgate 5/1/13 . chapter 1Awesome story! ! |
e. g. finch 6/14/12 . chapter 1My. God. furrylittlebantha, your story is amazing. I can feel the characters' emotions so clearly...oh, poor Mara. Poor Wedge. One suggestion only: the phrase "residual power" seems a little too clearly defined for Mara in this moment. Maybe just "power"? Sorry to be so nit-picky. Anyway, your story is definitely going to give me nightmares tonight...great job! D |
Alexxis T. Swan 1/26/12 . chapter 1Haha I do admit you might have a dark mind but we've all got a dark side and sometimes it produces delicious things like this story. So sad though, touching but sad. |
AshCarroll aka ShadowDiva 2/12/08 . chapter 1I know you put this up in 2006, but I haven't ventured into this section of the site in years. And holy crap, I could have your internet babies right now. I've never been a fan of Luke and Mara together, but have always been intrigued by the what-if? of her and Wedge. Man, you have no idea how long I've wanted to see this ship in a fic. Then I just wandered into the Star Wars section tonight on a whim and hey, there it was! :D This? Was so fabulous. And angsty. And dark. And I loved it. And I know it's an old story, but if you should get bitten by a muse to answer the question Wedge asked himself at the end of this ( But if it was the X-wing, why did she cling to him still, years after he had flown his last flight and any lingering scent faded away?) in another story? I'll be right there reading. :D |
Shi Feng Huang 6/27/06 . chapter 1Simply heartwrenching. |
MadisonMadineJK 6/26/06 . chapter 1Interesting... What would have happened if Luke hadn't survived Nirauan? Hard to picture Mara and Wedge together, though; but in the circumstances you place them in it could be possible... sad, but possible. Sorry for all the babling, but after reading this I had to think about the possibilities ;) It was a one good story of yours, as usual. :) I like that you dare to take the characters out of the stablished guidelines. I wouldn't be able to do it myself! My own imagination is pretty limited in that way. So good job! |
