 Ducky'sgirl4ever 2009-04-27 . chapter 1A great story. Very good. |
MarbleGlove 2008-08-17 . chapter 1Ooh. You have provided some really nice depth to the Mystique-Magneto relationship and brought up all sorts of foreshadowing for the future. Well done and thanks for sharing. |
La Flamingo 2007-07-04 . chapter 1Wow, this was certainly a change from what you ordinarily find in the X-Men playground. I have to say I'm very glad for that.
Good job with characters, dialogue and thought process--you wrote Mystique as I imagine she would be, and her character was just as cold, curt and sharp as she was in the films.
Erik--Magneto--is also done very well. I was impressed.
Good job. I appreciate the fact you thought outside the box. Definitely needed in a place where the plot lines run the same ad nauseum.
Cheers,

EmptyWord 2006-08-08 . chapter 1Very nice and very well-written. Lots of goodies to chew over!
"She gnashes her teeth together, summoning up the courage that has abandoned her since she was found in the mobile prison, naked and confused." - I like the idea that she lost her former "mutant courage" once she turned human and thus vulnerable.
It's strange to think of Magneto so subdued and apologetic, but I suppose he would have gotten quite a shock when turned human. And then, what else would he have had to spend his time on but think? Despite that, Magneto's concept of family being most important still seemed rather far-fetched to me - I can't justify that view with his character!
Overall though, this was very solid and a fun read. One thing I despise about this site sometimes is that it doesn't give a lot of good writers half the credit they deserve. You deserve much more recognition for this piece. :) |
The Fink 2006-06-29 . chapter 1Excellent. Very well characterised and written - and a very interesting take on the ending of X3.
Thank you :) |
Dancing Turtle 2006-06-29 . chapter 1I really liked that. In fact, I read it twice through. Good job! ^_~ |
