| The Tyrant Hamster 2006-07-02 ch 1, anon. | abuseAw, that was really moving, one of the key themes of Devil May Cry is loss, both Sparda and Eva being prime examples. The games don't dwell on it too long because it could so easily overshadow the other elements. But here in a story, you really got across that sadness, that risk, that fear and regret that Dante and some of his closest have to endure. I've long thought the death of someone close to him, could justify the way Dante is in DMC2, which is one thing I'm hoping DMC4 will elaborate on. But anyway, this was great, honest, I'm, I don't cry easily, but I felt it move me inside, so great work, that was tender and touching, and really well written :). |
