Really interesting pairing here and I have to think you wrote them a little bit OOC but it suits the story since they never had dead on interactions. I love the dialogue you provided and I always love the fiesty couple. I think logically Barry and Helen would end up together because their personalities work better for a relationship.

I know it's been several years since you posted this, but it's a good piece of work and would love to see some more if you ever revisit it.
