Xariel1107 2007-06-11 . chapter 1After I read 'A Glass Rose', tears were forming in my eyes. None had fallen but they were going to. While reading this, I was constantly wiping my eyes because the tears blurred my vision. I had to stop to wipe the tears from glasses. I even had to got to the bathroom wipe my face because it was all red. This story really reached out to me and, again, I know this story isn't new and hasn't reviewed for awhile but I love it so much I had to review. I just had to. It was beautifully written and I do encourage another part. Though at the time I'm reviewing there is already kind of a part three, I hope you continue with this; its too good to stop here.

Anna Jaganshi 2006-11-22 . chapter 1This was awsome, and again sad... Now Hiei is going to die too, but at least Kurama got his says in before hand, and to everyone else. A great sequel, and if you write a part three, I'd gladly read it!
It was... a tiny bit OOC, but that was alright, there's nothing wrong with a smidgen of it every now and then. ^^ BYE! |
ShadeSpirit 2006-10-09 . chapter 1You've only gotten 6 reviews for this? Well, it is a wonderful story and I don't think anyone is too out of character, considering the circumstances. There were a few places where words had run together, but overall I really enjoyed it. |
Think Chocolate Thoughts 2006-09-10 . chapter 1Wow! Whee I was overjoyed when I saw this! To start off, I love how you start this.
At first I thought Koenma's a bit off. But when I finished reading it, I can understand why he said what he said at the start ^^. And I really like how you made the rest acted after Kurama's death. Heheh and Kurama's little speeches ^^ Hah! I knew something like that would happen on Hiei's reaction! Lol and I so knew something was going on between them lol I totally held my breath on the last part.
I think you did great! For me, personally, I don't think you made them that much OOC. Every fan-fic author makes the characters somewhat different, some more than others, but I reckon it all depends on if they're believable. Yours is definately believable.
Also, I love how you write! Everything seems to flow out naturally. A little bit of missed spacing between words but nothing too big. And I hope the ending that says "It's finally over." doesn't really mean it's finally over lol. I'd say that Hiei dying IS another opening for a part 3! It'll be lovely to read more.
Oops I think I made this review too long. I get carried away hahah... |
Youko-Kokuryuuha 2006-07-25 . chapter 1That was incredibly touching and grieving. Even my own heart panged with agaony as I read the end. Hiei, of all people? Truly a great, yet tragic, end.
Though I must say, I hope, if anything, that it is not the end, and that there is at least one final installment. One dictating Kurama's sentence, as well as Hiei's. I, for one, would eagerly await it. As alwyas, well done.

KyoHana 2006-07-08 . chapter 1I truly did not find ANY of the characters to be OOC. I think, given the circumstances surrounding Kurama's 'death' and the fact that each had some emotional attachment to the fox, their reactions were perfectly in keeping with how they'd each grieve for him.
As for Kurama -- while I believe that he felt he did the 'right' (and only) thing in taking his own life, especially given that he felt he was being a burden both financially and emotionally to his family, I think he could not help but to feel regret for his action, especially after seeing what his death has done to his friends... and most especially to his fire demon.
Speaking of which, you're right in that you've left yourself the perfect opening for a peek into the 'afterlives' of our favorite demon pair. Hope you'll seriously consider writing it. |
Red Kitsune Flames 2006-07-03 . chapter 1I really liked this. The thing that really stuck out to me was that kurama didn't give in, that he didn't believe he made a mistake. That's a kind of reality that most stories seem to lack. I love the way that you make everyone respond, and again, how Youko still doesn't regret what he did.
I believe that you should continue with this story until the point where you don't leave room for a continuation. Besides, I want to know what Kurama's judgement is. |
Danyu 2006-07-03 . chapter 1Awe-inspiring, an excellent, satisfactory and bittersweet ending to Glass Rose. |
Dragonflyr 2006-07-02 . chapter 1I don't think they were out of character at all. I think everyone's reactions were very fitting for them and I truely enjoyed reading this. If you are willing to write a part three, I would dearly love to read it. The ending was adorable, but it was so sad that it took his death before Kurama was finally willing to admit to Hiei his true feelings. I hope you can write a third part, if it isn't too painful ^^. And don't be so hard on yourself. You did a fantastic job with this and "A Glass Rose". |
