Over a hundered years in soul society would have been a nice stableising loop for both Ranma and Naruto. Unless the stress of Soifon chasing him for all that time drove him to the edge.

This is a very funny story, I just wanted to point out that you made a minor mistake in the scene where shinji is talking to Diva and Saya on the hogwrats train. You said that both their eyes went red, when in the series only Saya's eyes go red, Diva's eyes go blue.

This isn't really a review so much as an idea that I had posted on Spacebattles and later thought you might want to look at:

Orochimaru is in a timeloop like those in Innortal's fics. Here's the key point though: canon is loop #542987. Yes I'm saying that canon Naruto was not the first iteration. It actually explains a lot about Orochimaru. The reason why he wants immortality is so that he can finally escape this %#$%^@# loop. He doesn't have perfect memory so he can't script a fight perfectly but he can design survival methods. The reason why he has so many backup survival plans is so his research can get a little farther before he has to @#$#%$ do most of it again. The reason he doesn't mind torturing people and such is that nobody is really hurt by it and it helps him escape this @^%^#$ loop faster. When he finally learns how to be immortal, he'll just kill himself and apply it and then live a life where he's a nice guy and excellent hokage. The reason why he wants the Sharingan and learn all the jutsu of the world is two-fold: first of all it probably could help him learn how to be immortal (and thus escape this $#^%& loop) sooner, secondly he REALLY needed a hobby (because this #$%^%^ loop means he is very bored). The reason he looked like a creepy snake even as a youth was that he implemented survival jutsu as soon as he could (so he could have longer before experienceing this $#^%% loop again. You'll notice that he's a little ... touchy *coughcrazycough* about the whole thing).

this could take a couple of paths but an amusing one-shot version would be that innortal's naruto's loops have all been interesecting with Orochimaru's #542987 loop so neither ever noticed until naruto boasts about his loop induced invincibility, cue Orochimaru freezing and saying "you too?"

The more interesting and serious path would be to instead do a character study of loop #542987 orochimaru.

"You look like a man with a very fashionable pair of nostrils."
