skabs 2008-08-13 ch 5,	abusei LOVE King... of course, that's not going to save him when Sam finds out he lied to her... or edged around the truth... dhampire/vampire... yeah... of course... my favorite King line, "Did you try the lobby?" wouldn't work in this story, but can i ask for more King/Sam screen time?

I mean, I never saw Godzilla, or Airwolf, and only barely remember Gargoyles, but with my limited knowledge of SG: SG-1 and Rurouni Kenshin (actually, I loved your YGO x-overs so much, I was determined to read the Stargate stories that I started brushing up on old Rurouni Kenshin memories and started buying the manga) I still manage to understand enough to adore and love and cherish the UL series. However, a question about this story in particular: In at least one episode of Stargate Atlantis, Rodney McKay is said to idolize Batman. Which would mean of course that he has read the comic, which would mean DC comics do exist. Should it be assumed then that they have a monopoly on the comic book world, and Marvel doesn't exist? I mean, I understand that Sam Carter is not likely to be a comic book buff, (she's more likley to date one)and thus would not recognize Hannibal King, but while running a background check, shouldn't something have popped up? Anyway, love your stories, and can't wait to read more. ~Poison Apples

I love the way you introduce each new character and fandom into your Urban Legends series with their own story (and Hannibal is a great character) while still delving deeper into the characters you already have. And I absolutely love the section narrated by Teal'c about his ... encounter ... with Hajime Saitou. I've had to come back and read it several times. I'm so glad that Saitou has come into the picture. And Enomouto, too, although I wonder how much chance there was in his placement at the SGC and how much intent and by whom. On the other hand, it is painful to watch O'Neil start to crack. With Hammond far behind but on pretty much the same path. But it's extremely well done, and I follow all of Dr. Baird's arguments. Something is going to have to happen and soon. I can't wait to see what you decide that something is. Keep writing. mg

Totally, it the reason I've read this story again. But bad Jack is really starting to get on my nerves and pull at my heart strings. I'll probably end up reading the next story in this series too (just because your such a good author I won't be able to resist at least looking) but I can't help but wish... Aw well it's your plot line and it is so damn reasonable and well thought out I can't find any real fault with any of your theories. By the way I tried to email you a while ago asking if you could email me the copies of your two song fics that you took off ff.n ages ago (I've got a real yen to read them and they're not posted anywhere else). Could you please do so?

I like Benkai, too, and I can't wait to see what you do with the dragons! Um, also, I don't think FFN is going to get 'the bee out of its bonnet' on songfics anytime soon, so do you think you might reupload those three stories without the song lyrics? Maybe with a link to them elsewhere on the web, if you want? I'd really like to read them again, they were very good.

I wonder what would happen if you put Hannibal into a goa'uld-type sarcophagus? Just a curiosity on my part, but... hm. Hm... And anyway, this was a damn good read the second time through. Just thought I'd say.
Celesta SunStar 2006-08-10 ch 5,	abuseYou are an absolutely, positivly, fabulous author. I love crossovers and alternate universes (In this case especially the Kenshin ones.) And as further proof, there is the fact that I have not been able to turn off my computer before 2, 3, or once, 6 AM because I have been reading and rereading your stories. Very good fun. I do have one request besides the 'Please write more soon,' that shows up often in many reviews of good stories. Could you perhaps write out timelines for your different Universes? It could help your readers that are sometimes shaky on the different backgrounds of your foundation AU's. (For example, I haven't come across Airwolf before, but I will HAVE to check it out soon.) I hope to see another story soon, happy writing!

You'd gone so long without a new story, I'd stopped checking on a frequent basis, so I didn't see this right when it went up, so I was a bit late getting to it, but it was worth the wait. I am. but I do like the idea of giving poor Jack some competiton. It's good for him. And of course anything with Kenshin in it, and Daniel, of course, has my immediate love. Benkai! I'll just say it, your SG universes are a lot more fun than the show right now, which is why I'm reading this after another Friday of Frustration. Keep up the good work!

You write humongous, lengthy, tightly-constructed fics that are a joy to read (and please pardon my squeeing fangirlishness here; it's just that it was a Good Fic) and I'm glad to see that you're still writing-- was worried about that a bit. As an old-time comics reader, I can say that you nailed Hannibal King perfectly; definitely in character, and yeah, he'd get along well with Sam. And I rather agree with you about him getting a raw deal from Doc Strange; bit of megalomania there on the good Doctor's part, I always thought. Anyway-- great fic, and welcome back!

I am so thankful that Sam and Jack aren't getting together. Sam and Hannibal though? Makes me very happy. Now we just need to find Sha're. I hope that SG-1 repairs their friendship soon though. I've always been a big fan of friendship stories. But I must admit, these people have a lot of issues they need to work through first. Hopefully they'll become stronger for it. Hopefully. I can't wait to see where you go next. And if you're going to write Atlantis. glomps John and Rodney I would love to see you write Atlantis! Of course that's probably because I'm a much bigger fan of Atlantis than SG-1 lately... Oh and can I just say how very much it amuses me that Judith's Tok'ra partner has my name? And that Judith is my mom's name? Really, it made me laugh.
