Um, this cahpter is really confusing, in fact, your, abrupt changes from drama and mystery to humour in Shinji and Rei sections makes this story hard to read, as it doesn't flow smoothly.
Your first chapter more or less established this as a 'serious' fic, but then there is chapter 3 which might as well be from a different story for all the sense it makes.
But your writing is good, so i will read on in hope of explanations.

This story and its predecessor have been an amazing read. The story is funny, complex, and just continues to draw me in and read more. How the characters act seem very genuine as well, except for the Angels since we don't honestly know how they would act. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter.

It has been a long while good sir.
I hope you can muster enough to end this season.
It doesn't have to be twice as long.
It really just needs to feel like a season ending.
I'm somewhat disconnected with this since it's been so long.
But from what I gather, there will be more losses and soon.
Rei II and the Sixteenth now co-inhabit Rei I's body.
Kaoru seems to be K.I.A.
Rei I is ... somewhere.
Lily is probably going to K.I.A. soon.
Aya will probably follow too since I can't see her surviving past having maybe some of her plans come to fruition.
Poor Shinji is in the center of it all and he can't do anything to stop the loss of those he cares for.
Sucks to have friends on both sides of the line.
I hope you'll be able to write your way through to the end.
I still have that slight thought of a future chapter where this world collapses in on itself and Shinji and cast remembers everything.
Thier old life and everything that transpired in the new world, all clashing at once.
I can see Shinji just try to throw in the towel, instead of freaking out at the sight of everyone, I kind of see him saying 'forget this, I'm resetting the universe'.
Whatever anyway good to hear from you again at least.

Very happy to see you add another chapter to this story. The characters are still awesome and I'm eagerly awaiting your next update.

A very interesting story so far, but I would like to point out a few small mistakes:
1.Tabris, the 17th Angel's name is spelled Kaworu or even occasionally Kaoru, but it is not spelled Kawaru.

2.The Deputy Commander of Nerv is Professor Kozo Fuyutsuki, it is not spelled Fuyutski.

3.Also Fuyutsuki's first name is Kozo, not Kozu.


Other than that I think your story is marvelous and I am sorry if it seems like I am being overly critical.

This chapter was relatively short, but everything seems relatively in character with what was given so far in the story. Good jorb!

A very pleasant update. This story has always been in the back of my mind because of its unique and interesting female characters. What I think makes this story run is the underlying tension between the girls. I just love the fact that everyone in Shinji's harem is so strong and determined. There are no weak characters in this story. I don't think any of the girls would be willing to sacrifice their love for Shinji in order to preserve their "friendships". It’s great to see that the girls are finally coming to terms with the fact that they need to act. I’m especially interested to see the reaction of Arael and Leliel when they find out their true identities. Keep up the good work.

Whoa, the angels are going desperate...
Asuka learned a violent side of "Lily", but i guess it doesn't mean that Leliel gave her cover up, as does Arael. Gendo will sure find some questions...
BTW, what's about of fighting the other angels? I mean, there are some still left of Lilith's gang, but they will surely appear all human-sized, so they could keep "Ayanami family" busy, or will Shinji or Asuka be able to pick up some useful skills?
What's about Eva-sized foes?
