Wing Omega
2006-11-07 . chapter 3
Why in the world did the navy fighter squadron stay to fight? There are times when the only sane option is to retreat and this was one of them, and it's not like the war would be over if they retreated or anything.

Also why are they still using Sparrows?

Wow, didn't expect to find you here... after the times in FA. =)
I've read the 5 chapters up, and I feel that your strongest point is the well-described scenes (both in air battles and the ground attack on 'Infiltration'). You have wide range of vocab, yet keep your writing simple for most readers to understand. And I love the smooth flow of actions!

Apart from very rare typos (eg. its become it's, some technical terms), your story is nicely written (and planned). For an action-lover like me, I think I'd give 8/10 so far.

Good luck in continuing the fanfic and I wish you the best!

Well, I must say that this story has a quite large focal point. I mean, most fics focus on a few people, but FA seems to take in the base as a whole? Is that something hard to write? Who exactly are going to be the main characters to pay attention to? What happened with Juan? What did he do to go into that "killing mode"? I see that you have updated in a few weeks. I hope that you do add a new chapter soon, because you have drawn me into this fic. Now I am hooked.
Some Kind of Monster
2006-07-11 . chapter 2
Well written and very entertaining. You actually portray the inter-pilot relations very well. There are few things that are un-realistic about the stealth attack, but don't worry about them, just minor tactical points.

I'm not sure how long it took you to put this together, but it's excellent with perfect deatails. Very enjoyable. Please continue.
