I didn't pay 'much' attention to the summary. But could it be possible that the story could continue to the part of Aki & Gray's meeting? Or Hein'a & Dr. Ross? There is no real triangle here but there is tension about their views and such.

Oh, wow. That was amazing, and I couldn't stop reading it. I didnt care if it was 4 or 400 years old, any kind of prose is timeless.
