sequel plz where right where this story left off. dont go jumping months or years ahead. just start it with them telling everyone jean is pregnant. :)

Hi! Just wanted to take a moment and let you know how much I enjoyed your story! And I totally agree! I hated the way the movies left everything and really wish it could have all ended the way your story did. It totally rocks!

The first time I read this, I think it was after had watched my X3-DVD and was feeling seriously disgruntled. I found it searching for some completed JOTT stories and when I read through the first chapter, it didn't exactly hold my attention at first. I stopped reading and went looking else where for Jott-ness.

Then sometime later, I was in the "X-Men" mood and clicked on this story again, determined to finish reading it. I can wholly say that this is one my favorite "X3-AU" stories (that were COMPLETED). I love the attention to details, concerning Phoenix/Jean's character; She wasn't so hesitant to speak her mind nor was she exactly that violent being she was in when she emerged from the lake.

Nice touch on furthering her strengths too (While I probably considered it, I never figured Phoenix could re-assimilate those she blasted into molecules ^_^). The interaction between herself and Scott was completely believable; It wasn't too mushy, sappy, or overly problematic. Scott was understanding, given his position, patient, and quite assertive when he needed to be.

I had a hard time imagining Cyclops without his ruby-quartz glasses, even after Jean implied she fixed the damaged brain tissue that 'caused the lack of control. The storyline was well written, I like that you made Charles 'fractured', not quite himself. I never did understand why Jean got most the punishment for her wrongdoing, and Charles - well he kinda evaded the consequences of his actions half the time. But, in a nutshell, I loved reading this for a third time.

Wow, I loved this story! So glad I stumbled across it today. :-) I liked your take on Charles, and I also liked how you handled the whole Jean/Phoenix/Scott/Logan thing, lol. This is going in my faves, I'd definitely read it again.

If 20th Century FOX ever decides to undo the mistakes of the last film and bring back Brian Singer to make an X-Men 4, this is the way it should go. I can see Stewart, Mardsen, McCellan, Berry, and Jackman acting the way you had them. You base Charles' "dark personality" off of Onslaught, didn't you. That was actually the first X-Men comic book storyline I actually read.

Great ending, I hope you write a sequel.

I really enjoy this story, always glad to read a story where the writer takes care of the triangle of Scott/Jean/Logan and handles the plot with a more unbiased way. Not to mention that Scott/Jean is my fav pairing and Scott is my ultimate fav character.

WOW! That was a great story and a great ending. Jean and Scott does belong with each other. and I liked how you solved the 'problems' between the characters, mainly Logan and Scott, and Magneto and Mystique and the X-Men. well, i look forward for your next story.
