So I was perusing my inbox, and what do you know? :)

The previous ending never sat very well with me, so this is interesting to read. At least you wrote it! I know how difficult it is to sit down and pull up old stories--but the ideas never die. It's just a matter of re-applying that old spark.

Anyway, cheers to typing up loose ends. I've got some of my own I should really get around to.

So, is this Review #101? I'm assuming it is, which means that you've now officially recieved over a hundred reviews for this. And I can't blame you; it's a tad OOC (like you said it would be at one point), but the actual writing is very elegant and smooth. And, as a bonus, it's readable. If you want to do a sequel, let's just say that I won't stop you.

I vote for a second version! I don't know if you mean a second ending or if you mean an alternate story with them, but anything more from you I'll gladly take!
