Ignoring the fact that Maya is not Jack's only daughter- he has one named Hannah too, and that Elliot has a brother called Donny, this was a pretty good story. It was nicely written (although you missed out the 'n' in 'twins') and I liked it.

Erm...you do get this is supposed to be a COMEDY show right? This is an interesting viewpoint to take, but I'm afraid a series such as this, which is so deeply set as a comedy isn't really the best choice on which to attach your story. This might work on Buffy, Xena or a dozen other shows, but here it simply looks depressing and false.

Overall, I would suggest you study the show you are writing about a bit more next time, it seems alot like you don't have a clue about any of the characters or their personalities, and had you done that, it would have brought to life the emotions I believe you were looking for. Good luck on your next venture.
