This was great, although I like to tell myself, that maybe Jack found some mint somewhere at Lizzie's suggestion earlier that his hygiene was lacking. Personally, I don't care who you are, I am not kissing anyone whose breath smells like a "donkey's a**" (as Johnny Depp and Gore Verbienski so delicately put it in the CotBP DVD).

You've caught Elizabeth's confusion perfectly, and in a way, I sort of feel bad for her after this. Lemme tell ya, I was actually mad at her when she finally caved to "temptation" - when you're betrothed, you stick by your man! At the same time, now I wonder who she truly loves, and how things will work out in the next movie. One thing's for sure though: I feel pretty bad for Will. X3;; Awesome, awesome fic! It got me thinking and feeling the same way I did during that scene! Keep up the fantastic writing!

Commander my dear, you once again capture and bring forth the universe from behind a few simple frames of film. Honestly. The level to which you read a person is oft times almost astonishing. You've really captured Elizabeth from all the angles. She's torn in so many different ways and like many of us, the more she tries to unravel the meaning, the more it confuses her. It really was a pleasure to read this, as it has been with reading all your other works, and I can truly say this is a fabulous addition to your ever growing collection excellent writing. It reminded me a lot of what my friend and I were yelling at the screen when we went to see the movie. "That's the wrong guy!" "Why is he smiling?!?!" "What about Will?!?!" If anyone was having any doubts about your writing skill, this definitely prooved them wrong! Fantastic!! I love it! (faves)

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and Jack cracked me up at every turn! I was wondering if someone would do a fic about Elizabeth and what she had done, and I was right!
