Well, I'm terrible at critique, so I'll just give you massive thumbs up and many bravos. It's not often you see a gritty, real story like this, let alone in the world of zim fan fics (which seem to mostly be made of ZADR *shudder*).

You also get much good...stuff for the Lou Reed and Iggy Pop references.

I like the idea of Dib becoming a waste lock. Why not write something from Dib's POV? Great stories by the way!^-^

This was a very good story! 2 thumbs up and 4.9 stars(for small very small spelling and grammar mistakes). I loved how you discribed Zim's drug trips, hallucinations, and my personal favorate, his withdraw symptoms. Very well written. So well I kinda wanted to use a drug and see for myself if that was what it's like. I didn't though! Don't worry! lolz!!

Wow. It's been a long time since I read this story. Just got bored tonight and decided to see if you had finished this story and was pleasantly surprised to find that you had! Haha! Yesh! I loved it! That's all I can really say. It was so awesome. I'm literally speechless at how well this entire thing came out. This is definitely one of the best Invader Zim fics I have ever read, EVER! I love your writing style and I thought the ending was perfect. Makes me want to do more art for this story. Hopefully I'll have time to throw something together soon. ^^ Reading this has put me in the mood to continue writing more chapters to my own fics and not many stories I read can do that. So glad this isn't a drug sob story. Yeah, I'll admit, there are some stupid drugs that will kill you. But this was written beautifully. I liked the Zim character you created. I dunno, you just write really really good with this. Invader Zim has always been somewhat..fuller than most shows, hell, than any show, and you followed the basic guidelines but twisted them into your own thing. I love it.

Long long ago, when that lightning bolt hit the surface of the water, life started. The elements there were oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and..uh..I think carbon. Anyways, those are the four elements we need to survive. We need oxygen because it is apart of us. It was there at life's birth. We need water because it is a combination of hydrogen and oxygen. We need it.

Zim needs nitrogen more than oxygen because of how his race was created. That's cool how you added that in. The holding the breath thing added some life to this story, even though it's pretty amazing so far.

Okay, wow. I'm really loving this Zim character. It's turning out really good (I know but grammer is not a priority during four thirty in the morning).
