This is nothing personal (lots of people do it) but SERIOUSLY! George knows how to talk properly, he uses proper grammar with Alana, if you don't want to re-read the Alana series just read the first few pages of Terrier. Sure he calls her lass but, thats about it.

sweet... i may be in the minority here but i actually prefer AG to AJ... lol. that was very cute. one thing tough... george saying 'ye' all the time makes him sound like an uneducated hick, and as far as i can remember his mother taught him to speak properly ... but it does serve a purpose accentuating their differences i suppose... anyway, nice work xx - Lexie

I like it... However I think george uses "ye" too much.. He doesn't actually do that in the books :D Also, I think that Alanna actually loved George from the very beginning except she didn't realize it. You made it sound as though he was a replacement. I still liked this fic tho. Way to go!

i really love this story it's beautifully written and i think it shows well the feelings of both george and alanna. i have always favoured the king of thieves anyway, so i love this story even more. well done! i loved it!
