Oh wow I'm so glad I took the time out to read this fic! What was even cooler was that I read it about 5.45 in the morning, and finished it just in time to see the sun peering through my windows :D Powerful message conveyed excellently! It didn't sound "preachy", rather wise and it was great food for thought.

Another great story and I love that you give Toph so much wisdom .. even though she is the most blunt of them all.

It's true that we all take so much for granted and only when we're missing something do we notice the things that are always there .. being simply beautiful. I loved the message it convey and I loved that it was Toph .. blunt, sarcastic, ever-fighting Toph .. that taught Aang that life is simply full of miracles if we let ourselves truly see what's out there.

As I was reading this, I noticed how much detail you put into the actual activity of running - preparation, proper technique, their reactions...

Toph's attitude at the beginning was perfect for her. I thought both Toph and Aang were completely in-character throughout the whole fic, just because she DOES open up every once in a while in certain situations. I loved the way you prepared the scene for her to unveil her softer side. I thought the way she was trying to teach Aang how to really "see" and "know" instead of just to look at something was very artistic.

All in all, I thought this was very creative and refreshing.
