Hey snail boy I love this story! It has got to be my favorite by far. I love the fact that he makes toys for children it seems like the perfect job for him and if it wasnt for my intense fear of dolls I would probably be a toy maker myself. Well if ever you get bored with nothing to do make a squel to this one. Actually i almost demand that you do I love this one!

I agree with you on the point that NIck doesn't seem depressed in the show, and I don't think the character is either. I love how you decided to write a fic on a part of him that no one else has - I've never read another fic about his toymaking hobby, and I'd actually forgotten about it for the most part! Anyways, great job and keep up the great work!

How fascinating! You picked up an interesting thread that has not been explored by the show or fanfic! Nicely written, though the current paragraph arrangement created a sense of repetition could be edited... "Catherine had never noticed that the figurine Lindsay had wanted so badly had been the closest replica of Kristy as he could create from the single picture he had and his own memories. The figure of Kristy was clothed in a white dress, her face bearing a warm smile, and her bird that she could fly away on a simple dove." would have been better placed in the Catherine knew paragraph; then bringing up the "It had been his final tribute" para to follow. As I reread it with that order, it doesn't seem so repetitious. It seems to flow more evenly like a stream of consciousness.

This was beautiful. A great take on that single line in Stalker and I loved this.
