I loved it. Intense, accurate, well written.

But I do have a bit of difficulty with the last line. Technically, "You were right" could simply mean that she was right in the sense that it is good 'to know', not that that knowledge informed him of positive results.

Anyway, I'm still confused- but I still enjoyed it.
