2007-01-21 . chapter 1Hey, Shoiryu, you might wanna post a warnning your Summary for "Touch." Whether or not I read into wrong or something, but there is something defiantly of the Slashly-Realm in this story. The title alone made me wary, but I ventured onward and forward nevertheless.
The beginning of the story describe the perplexed narrative of Obi-Wan Kenobi trying to figure his emotional student out quite nicely and from there the story describes in all of its poetic and complex paragraphies, their relationship and Anakin's emotional-disposition (if you wanna call it that), and problems with other people (besides Kenobi) touchin' on him. Next thing I know, the alarms are going off in my head as I continued to go on straight into this paragraph: [". . .but he cannot seem to understand why Obi-Wan finds it odd that they continue to share a bed into his teenage years."] Then suddenly, as I am, readinng through the truly muddled and confusion "poetic/complex" paragraphs, I find the two are having sex with each other as another way to be "close to each other"? Disturbing, much?
Yeah, by this time, my mouth was hanging agape. It went from a supposed "Bonding" story, to a "Slash" story. In mine eyes anyhow.
All in all, I enjoyed whatever came before the aformentioned paragraph in the box "[]". After that, it just falls off the cliff into a bottomless pit. Just put a warning sign on it.

2006-07-17 . chapter 1 Wow. That was good. You did great--captured both of them so lovingly. I'm so impressed that you didn't try to make Anakin into something he's not, just kept him as the slightly awkward, extremely passionate and sometimes violent person he is. I'm also impressed that you give us a satisfying ending while remaining with the storyline. So many other authors would have given in to the Obi-Wan/Anakin slash, and you didn't. I don't have anything against slash, but it seems a bit unlikely. Good job. |
