Heh. My take on the prison time glitch is that he could have been 'on the books' at more than one slam at any given point in time. Based on the Crematoria guard's description of how payouts to mercs work and the muttering that passes between two of the guards later when Riddick interrupts their attempt to (presumably) rape Kyra, prisons may have just kept him on their books, even after he escaped, to get the money that the government pays them for their 'guests.' I hope that makes sense... It does in my head. (shrugs)

I added this to my C2 community, The Animal Side. Great resource. I do have some issues with it, in that I disagree with some of the placements you have chosen, but overall, this is a very nice timeline.

I've been putting up Riddick Trivia on my forum for the C2 community. I will get around to posting the Slams there that Riddick has escaped from. According to the Hunt for Riddick Webgame, you have overlooked Altair in you listing. I believe that Altair (revealed only after Riddick's bio signature is known and connected to Furya) is the location of his 'Deep Storage' where he's sent first because he is not identified by name but bio data.

Also the various prisons indicate security levels through their names.

Butcher Bay Triple Max Slam Prison(triple Max at time of Riddick's first run through)
Altair Prison Network(Triple Max)
Crematoria (Triple Max)
Tangiers Penal Colony (Double Max, may have been triple max before Riddick escapes from there the first time)
Ursa Luna Max-Sec Prison, Slam City facility(Double max)
Hubble Bay Penal facility (Double Max)
Ribald S. Correctional Institute (single max ?)

If the name says 'Prison' or has nothing after it is triple max, If it says 'Penal' then its double max. I'd guess that the Correctional Institute is either he juvie facility he is raised in, or a prison he ended up in by mistake.

Anyhow, I hope the listing helps you. The Slams I've indicated come from the Hunt for Riddick Webgame and CoR itself. I have screen caps of the listing if you want them. :-)

Thanks again for the timeline.

This is very helpful. I believe TCOR is the only movie that isn't R, so it's the only one I have watched since I'm not allowed to watch R-rated movies. So this fills in a lot blank spaces for me.

This is pretty cool and helpful as well :) Whenever I write something based on a movie or book...or basically something that already has a history I often do research as well.

Wow... That's pretty cool. Not having read either book or done any research beyond what fell in my lap, this is amazing.

Oh, most certianly :-) I find it challenging to try and write a story that can fit within (or in the general vicinity of ;-) the canon, and this is intended for use by anyone else with such an inclination, but I whole heartedly recognize that staying within canon is not always possible, or even the least bit desirable.

well now, this is interesting. neatly compiled, very well researched, well documented (i can only vouch for the books and movies, not being a big webbie myself). a lot of thought obviously went into this and i applaud you for it. however i hope that you don't think anyone will actually abide by it, since the whole beauty of fan fiction is that we are all masters of space and time in our own rights and can do whatever the hell we want to with what's not ours. Other than that it's wonderful and very interesting. ~Batty
